"Poblacht Na H Eirann" The Republic of Ireland. This is a copy of the original 1916 Proclamation that led to the Easter Rising. It's hung proudly in our downstairs Pub. It was a call to the people of Ireland that their leaders were about to engage in a revolution to declare their independence from British rule. It is seen by many in the Irish community as the Irish equivalent to the US Declaration of Independence in 1776.
